To say we are proud to have Luke as a member at Rushcutters is an understatement. Every challenge we have thrown his way he has responded with flying colours. Since joining in July this year Luke has regularly attended 2 strength based personal training sessions a week and 2 cardio classes being rushfit and boxing as well as doing his own extra sessions and playing cricket on the weekend. Luke says the structured approach and gradual build up plan of strength is what he has enjoyed most about Rushcutters as well as the easy going and motivating environment.
Due to his consistency with his training plan and regular tracking of food calories, he has lost a total of 12kgs and a staggering 27cm from his chest waist and hips combined in a 5 month period. Noticeable differences in his training are his ability to move in any direction better, particularly with the lunge pattern as well as bench press 80kg for 4 reps. The ability to Increase strength whilst having a primary goal of reducing body fat can always be a tricky challenge which Luke is mastering well. Good old fashioned hard work and a patient attitude has seen Luke get the results he deserves and we couldn’t be any happier for him. Can’t wait to see further goals achieved in 2020 which include a continuing weight loss journey and potential running events. Well done on being our member of the month Luke very well deserved.
