In the gym: every lift is up. Back squat back over 100kg, now 110kg x 6, and bench up +10kg to 65kg x 6, strongest he’s felt in years.
Outside the gym: smashed 3 major events in 4 weeks:
• HYROX double simulation: 1:16
• Wollongong Aquathon: 52:18
• Batemans Bay Triathlon: 2:33:03
Two of these were during 4in4, while improving protein intake and juggling a heavy work schedule.
More races locked in, in the next month, including Brisbane HYROX and another triathlon, all at 60 years of age.
