Faces of Rushcutters Bay: Renee Cross

How long have you lived and worked in the area?

I have been lucky enough to live in Elizabeth Bay and Potts Point for the last 8 years. The ‘hood’ as I affectionately call it is home & I love the sense of community.

What type of business do you run?

I work in sales with the team at Ray White Elizabeth Bay. It is such a great area to sell in, we work on all price points from studios to million dollar waterfront listings – it is a dynamic property precinct.

What do you like most about your job?

Being able to connect and work with people on both sides of the property transaction is very rewarding. The hustle of sales and the speed in which we work is addictive – I love being on the move and chatting to all the people.

I also really rate my team, so I love going to work most days.

Where do you find inspiration?

Besides my daughter who drives me to be the best I can be, I admire most and inspired by many, we all have a story to tell. On a side note the endorphins of a putting a sale together is solid inspiration that continues to drives me.

How do like to exercise?

I love a challenge and like to switch off while exercising, I don’t want to think of anything else. I really enjoyed being pushed beyond and if the exercise happens to be outdoors that is a bonus.  I love that post workout feeling.

What are some of your favourite restaurants,/cafes, hangouts

I have to say Room 10 Espresso for coffee, I think I have visited them almost everyday for the past 8 years. and for a great easy dinner I cannot go past Fratelli Paradiso.

What is your favourite holiday destination

Last Christmas I took my daughter to Hawaii – perfect amount of sunshine, beach time and a few adventures. So, I guess anywhere warm!
